Job brief

We are looking for a Senior Developer / Team Lead to design and develop Desktop GIS Application. You will work with Business Analyst Team in Thailand to define development plan and take the lead on application development according to Thailand team’s requirements.

In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. If you also have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to develop high-quality application that is aligned with standard in Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Analyst Team in Thailand to define development plan and take the lead on GIS application and integration development for utilities and telecommunication clients.
• Develop high-quality application design and architecture

• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Develop applications by producing clean and efficient code
• Review code and provide consultation to developer team
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal developer team and Thailand team to fix and improve applications
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a Senior developer or team leader (at least 3 years) with JAVA, .NET platform or other.
• Extensive experience with desktop GIS application design and development
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with various RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work with dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
• Experience in project management with large corporations will be an advantage.
